Grinding and magnet machining
If you need absolute accuracy on precision grinding for your components, Aeristech have the capability of a Haas CB Multi-grind machine to help you deliver short production runs to large scale projects.
With a team of highly skilled engineers, we excel in crafting both straightforward and intricate components, even when working with challenging materials like Samarium Cobalt, Neodymium, Titanium, and Stainless Steel.
Functionality available to you:
- Automatic wheel changer with a seven wheel carousel.
- Full 5-axis capability, ranging from basic cylindrical grinding to helical grinding.
- Ability to perform grinding, milling and drilling operations on one machine set-up.
- 500mm between centres capacity.
- Temperature controlled coolant system with centrifuge cleaning of coolant.
- Work holding between centres or chuck mounted.
- Programmable wheel dressing for profile grinding capability.
- Cylindrical grinding of Neodymium and Samarium Cobalt magnet arrays.
- Grinding of difficult materials such as: Titanium, Stainless Steels and Ceramics.
- Design and manufacture of high-speed rotors, including balancing on our Schenck TB Pro machine.
